The Invention of Music

I was having this discussion recently with my step-son regarding what was the best invention of all time. After discounting the obvious answer, wheel, I nominated music. My argument for it was simple, it brings people together. People from all walks of life, all cultures, religions etc can share a common interest, music. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the same kind of music for everybody, but one concert in a big city can attract an audience far greater in its spectrum of people than anything else. He chose medicine, which too has its uses, but I argue that a happy person isn’t as ill as an unhappy one.

When you are using a fireplace to keep the house warm and comfortable, you have to pay attention to some important things especially when it has something to do with safety. A fireplace is undoubtedly one of best source of heat when needed but you have to make sure that all the important parts are still in good condition. For instance, your fireplace should have a screen that has to be always closed especially when you are using it. After using the fireplace or when the fire is low, you can close the heatilator door. If you find out that the door is already damaged, you can have it fixed or you can choose among the heatilator fireplace doors and get a new one. The same idea applies to other important parts of the fireplace.

I Am The Doctor

That is an interesting question and one that I am a bit embarrassed to admit. Normally, when I am bored, I am sitting by my computer doing absolutely nothing. As I begin to nod off from the boredom, I start fantasizing about my own adventures, as if I was Doctor Who’s, The Doctor. I would go into my closet, take out what I like to call my “captain’s jacket,” because of it’s length, and just parade around the computer room with a laser pointer that I call my sonic screwdriver. The screwdriver is actually a bit new and before, I would use a light saber.

Tomorrow is a Mystery While Today is an Adventure

Lots of different things inspire me to keep going and living life a day at a time. I’m inspired by the unknown. The next day is a mystery and I want to solve it, so for me to do that, I have to live through the present day. Another thing that inspires me is actually my favorite television show, Doctor Who. I aspire to be like the show’s main protagonist, The Doctor, and live to travel, give hope, and hopefully save a few lives as I go along. Another thing, or should I say person, that inspires me is my closest friend. She keeps me on my feet, making me ready for any adventure she wants to take me on.

Fuels for Different Types of Fireplaces

There are different types of fireplaces that you can choose and each uses a particular type of fuel. For instance, traditional fireplaces which are also known as wood burning fireplaces use wood to produce heat. But if you are going to use a gas fireplace, wood is definitely not the best fuel to use, superior fireplace gas logs would be more appropriate. And if you opt for using an electric fireplace more modern type, you should not bother yourself in considering gas logs or wood as fuels because you just have to plug it in a regular outlet and everything will all be set.

Enlighten Me

My favorite invention of all times is that small and seemingly insignificant object that sits quietly in the ceiling or wall of any home ... named bulb. From the beginning I was entertained by how Edison invented it. The first bulb appearance was very welcome simply because it was time to quit the classic candles scattered throughout all houses from everywhere. After that moment everybody found that little electric thing very useful. From chandeliers to street lighting and car headlights later, Edison's invention has been particularly used.

I personally believe that after some major invention from the beginning of time like fire or wheel, bulb is the most important invention because it has offers many advantages. One of the great qualities of an invention is to be easy to modernize and the bulb filament makes no exception because the mere use of Edison’s idea gave to his descendants the possibility to create the neon, halogen headlamps and many others. But most important I think that is for us to remember how hard was made the first step to a light bulb and to appreciate the true value of it we have to imagine how it would be without it in the dark...

My Angel

Kids are the best and the most blessed gift that can ever happen to anyone. And the best gift that I have is my daughter which just makes me feel complete and keeps me going even when I am in the midst of any crisis. It brings a smile and a feeling of contentment whenever I read in my religious books that if God wished good will to anyone He gives them a Daughter. Nothing else then makes you feel that they are a burden. She is my biggest inspiration. There have been times when I just don’t feel like doing anything when I afflicted with grief and sorrow but then her innocent words and gestures makes me feel revived and helps me to face all the difficulties that is Of course with the help of the Almighty who has sent my daughter as a powerful influence that no one can deny.
